PROCESS:

Fig 1.1 The Whole Process

Firstly, I randomly found some infographic poster and I found the choosen one that doesn't look so good.

Then, I start research on what shown on the poster for verify the facts.

After that, I start finding some free online infographic tool. I found this website: 25+ Best Infographic Creation Tools in 2022 [Free & Paid] (techjury.net) and start test those tool one by one.

First, Canva. Canva is a very known website of design template, but when I start using the tool in it, I can't find some specify tool that I need. However, it still have many fun things in it!

Second, Snappa. It is very complete but it kinda weird when using and I can't find out what's the problem.

Third, Visme. This is the perfect website that I use for more details and tools to use and I decided to use it because it has what I need.

I do not use the template because I can't find the template that suit to my idea. So, I create an empty board.

For the full process, please watch the video above.

Lastly, this is my outcome:

Fig 1.4 Outcome

For my version, I like to show the details of human's sleep cycle. So, the upper part I explained how our sleep cycle works, what are they( N1, N2, N3, N4, REM) and their duration.

For the lower part, I let a big space for 10 Strange Things About Dreams and present it more clean and minimal.

Fig 1.5 Comparison

For the poster before being re-design, I feel like it was too crowded, all the information stick together, the facts are good and not wasting the background by show out the sleep cycle. I will give it 6 marks out of 10.

For my version, because lack of sources, the graphic is not too unified. But, so far so good and I like it. Hope you like it also!
