Information Design/Exercise 2: L.A.T.C.H

L.A.T.C.H

L.A.T.C.H represent Location, Alphabet, Time, Category and Hierarchy.

For this exercies, we need to organize a group of information into a visual poster that combined and utilizes the LATCH principles (min. 4).

These are a few of suggested compiled data can use or can pick any topic wanted:

Requirements:

Size resolution: 1240 x 1750 pixels or 2048 x 2048 pixels

Use a digital photo editing / illustration software available to assemble the pokemons into a LATCH infographic poster. You can re-use back the images of the monsters, but do create the rest of your own visuals to cimplete the poster.

Fig 2.1 Sketch

Basically, this is my sketch. My idea is to seperate those starter pokemons to three places that represents their element type. For starter pokemons, it's means the three pokomns that we choose when we start playing the games or the pokemons that choose by main character in anime and thier element type are fire, water and grass.

Fire
Fire starter pokemons from first generation to the latest (eighth) generation  are Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Tepig, Fennekin, Litten and Scorbunny.

For fire type place, I choose volcano because volcano are the most common place that have fire at there

Water
Water starter pokemon are Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, Piplup, Oshawott, Froakie, Popplio and Sobble. Their place is choosen as waterfall。

Grass
Grass starter pokemon respectively are Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig, Snivy, Chespin, Rowlet and Grookey. Thier choosen place is forest.

All pokemons' illustration is taken from Pokédex | Pokemon.com
